Skilled Migrant Visa

People with abilities that can help New Zealand's economy flourish are eligible for this visa. You must first submit an expression of interest (EOI), including your credentials and employment history, before you can apply.

➤ Length of stay - Indefinitely

➤ Age Range - 55 years or under

➤ Cost - From NZD $4880

➤ EOI selection - Next selection on 19 July 2023

This visa allows you to reside, engage in employment, and pursue education within New Zealand. You have the option to include your spouse or partner, as well as any dependent children below the age of 24, in your application for permanent residency.

Important points to consider:

➤ We evaluate expressions of interest using a points-based system.

➤ Expressions of interest with 180 points or more will be chosen.

➤ This visa is not intended for individuals who are self-employed. If you wish to work in your own business, it is recommended to apply for an Entrepreneur Resident Visa.

➤ Effective from 9 October 2023, there will be modifications to the Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa.

➤ The final selection of expressions of interest under the current Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa will occur on Wednesday 16 August 2023.

➤ You can submit an expression of interest from now until 23:59, Tuesday 15 August 2023 (NZST).
